A vast glass dome with a towering indoor waterfall and tropical planting. When quiet, it feels like a polished, climate-controlled dream. Jewel Changi is a nature-themed complex at the heart of Singapore’s Changi Airport. Its centrepiece is the Rain Vortex: the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by the multi-level Forest Valley filled with thousands of plants and trees. Curved glass walls, soft natural light, elevated walkways and carefully controlled climate combine to create a strong Frutiger Aero atmosphere of technology and nature in perfect harmony. In quieter moments the space feels suspended and slightly unreal, like walking through a Windows Vista wallpaper.
Key features include:
- The Rain Vortex indoor waterfall
- Multi-level Forest Valley with dense tropical planting
- Soft natural light and climate-controlled atmosphere
- Elevated walkways and open, airy volumes
- Seamless blend of nature and high-tech design
