The unsettling sense that you're being watched.

You've been wandering for what feels like hours.
Ahead of you are four different paths.
Which one do you take?
A brightly lit hallway that seems to stretch on forever.
A staircase descending into a dark, silent underground station.
A glass door leading into an empty shopping mall, music still playing.
A pathway through an overgrown playground beneath a pink evening sky.

You enter a place that feels strangely familiar.
Everything looks exactly as you remember it,
except for one detail.
What is it?
Every clock has stopped at exactly 3:33.
The TV is playing live footage of you in this very room.
You cannot see out of the windows, they all just glow with a nostalgic fluorescent light.
There's a photograph of you on the wall, taken somewhere you've never been.

You decide to leave. But when you open the front door,
the world outside isn't the one you remember.
What do you see?
An endless suburban street. Every house is identical, and the sun never seems to set.
A deserted amusement park, its colourful lights flickering against the night sky.
A vast, empty car park stretching into the fog, with no buildings in sight.
A perfectly still ocean beneath a pale blue sky, with no horizon separating the two.

You wander further into this unfamiliar world.
For the first time, you notice signs that someone else has been here.
What do you find?
A television playing an old cartoon in an otherwise empty living room. Someone has left a bowl of cereal on the floor.
A row of wet footprints leading out of an abandoned swimming pool. They stop abruptly in the middle of the changing room.
A telephone ringing inside a deserted roadside motel. When you pick it up, you hear your own voice on the other end.
A handwritten sign taped to a door. It reads: "If you can read this, you're still dreaming."

You've heard stories about the things that inhabit places like this.
Which would you be most afraid to encounter?
The False Human — Someone who looks completely ordinary, but whose movements and expressions are just slightly wrong. They know things about you that nobody should, and insist they've been waiting for you.
The Distant Figure — A tall, motionless silhouette standing impossibly far away. No matter how long you walk, the distance between you never changes.
The Unseen Presence — Something that imitates the voices of people you love, calling to you from empty rooms. Sometimes you hear it breathing directly behind you, but whenever you turn around, there's nothing there.
The Doppelgänger — An exact copy of yourself wandering the same empty spaces. It seems to know where it's going, and it doesn't want you to follow.

You're certain you're no longer alone. Then, somewhere nearby,
you hear footsteps. They stop whenever you stop. What do you do?
Turn around immediately. Whatever is following you, you'd rather face it than let it remain unseen.
Keep walking as though you haven't noticed. Perhaps if you don't acknowledge its presence, it won't acknowledge yours.
Call out and ask who's there. After so long alone, part of you desperately hopes it's another person.
Find somewhere to hide and wait. You want to see what emerges when it thinks you've disappeared.

The footsteps have finally stopped. After what feels like an eternity,
you discover something that might lead you home. What is it?
An old computer displaying a single message: "RETURN TO PREVIOUS LOCATION?"
Beneath it are two buttons: YES and NO.
A brightly illuminated EXIT sign above a door at the end of a dark corridor.
You can hear familiar voices coming from the other side.
A deserted train platform. A train pulls into the station, its doors opening
silently. The destination board displays your hometown.
A payphone ringing in the middle of an empty street. When you answer,
a familiar voice whispers: "I know how to get you out."

You've found a way out. But in order to leave, something must be left behind.
What are you willing to sacrifice?
Your memories. You can return to your old life, but you'll forget
everything about the people, places and experiences that made you
who you are.
Your identity. You'll return to the world you remember, but nobody
will recognise you. Every trace of your existence will have been erased.
Your sense of time. You'll make it home, but you'll never know how
long you've been gone. Days, years and decades will become
indistinguishable.
Your certainty. You'll return to a life that appears exactly as you
remember it, but you'll never be able to shake the feeling that
you never really escaped.

Our living room

You've made your decision, and stand before a door
that promises to take you home. But as you reach for the handle,
a voice behind you whispers: "You were never supposed to leave."
What do you do?
Open the door without looking back. Whatever is waiting on the
other side, you'd rather face the unknown than remain here another moment.
Turn around and confront the voice. You need to understand why you
were brought here, even if the truth means you'll never escape.
Hesitate. Something about this place has begun to feel strangely
comforting. For the first time, you wonder whether the world you
left behind was ever really home.
Close your eyes and refuse to choose. If this place exists somewhere
between reality and dreams, perhaps you can wake yourself up.
